Six years after the launch of Fraser’s Folly Craft Brewery, we’ve been bought by the Black Oystercatcher Wine Farm.
That means the Fraser’s Folly Brewhouse, originally based at Struisbaai, moves to the wine farm (between Bredasdorp and Elim). And we’ll continue to make our flagship brands from here.
With the move, we remain the most southerly craft beer in Africa. And I remain the Brewmaster and the face of the beer.
The Brewhouse at the Black Oystercatcher has been stocked with new equipment – which allows me to not only increase volumes, but to continue focusing on delivering the best quality product.
We’ll also be able to increase our range of beers, with plans to launch new styles.
We’re really excited about the future and the new opportunities that come with the move.
Don’t forget to join us to celebrate the launch of the new Brewhouse – on 16 December at the Black Oystercatcher Wine Farm.
We’re also part of the Black Oystercatcher SOS Festival (Sauvignon blanc, Oysters and Stout) – pairing our creamy stout with delicious fresh oysters, and a range of other meals.
See you there.
