For seven years, I’ve built my Fraser’s Folly following in the Cape. Now, for the first time, we’re taking Fraser’s Folly to Joburg.
Joburg is well known as the centre point for much of the craft beer culture in South Africa. There are fantastic establishments that really support quality, interesting craft beers there.
Now we’re joining the Joburg craft beer clan. My five flagship craft beers will be available in the Throbbing Strawberry in Douglasdale, in Bootleggers in Fourways and in Tops in Midstream. And that’s only the start.
Meet the Brewer in Joburg
And to get to know the Gauteng craft beer lovers, I’m heading up to Joburg. We’re teaming up with the Throbbing Strawberry, to host a Meet the Brewer event on Wednesday 29 March. It starts at 7pm, and includes perfectly-paired meals with the beer.
We’ll be chatting about English-style craft beer in the country (I’m the only one). And what makes craft beer so darn good.

The winner will be announced on Tuesday 28 March 2017.
The prize is a case of Fraser’s Folly beer.
Children under 18 cannot enter the competition.
The winner will be randomly selected from entries received on social media.
Fraser’s Folly’s decision in respect of all matters with regards to the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
We reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions.
